TERMS & CONDITIONS

This Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") governs the use of the website www.itemboxx.com (the "Site") and the rental services provided by Item Box Events LLC SOC, a company registered in the UAE at: UAE, Dubai, Al Karama IDS Group, office 165 (the "Company", "we", "us", "our").

By accessing our website, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please leave our website and refrain from using our services.

1. Description of Services

The Company provides short-term rental services (starting from 1 calendar day) of furniture, equipment, decorations, and other items (the "Items") to private and corporate clients for use at private, public, and corporate events, celebrations, and other occasions.

2. Registration and Orders

  • Orders are placed through the website's order form (Cart – Checkout).
  • Clients must provide accurate contact and delivery information.
  • We reserve the right to decline any order without explanation, including but not limited to: violation of previous rental terms, provision of false information, or technical inability to fulfill the order.

3. Rental Terms

  • Minimum rental period is 1 calendar day.
  • Upon delivery, the client must provide a valid ID and sign an acceptance form. If the client refuses, the Company may decline delivery, and the rental fee will not be refunded.
  • The client agrees to return the Items in the same condition as received, considering normal wear and tear. The signed return form from the Company shall serve as confirmation of return.
  • In case of damage or loss of Items or any of their parts, penalties apply according to Section 5 of this Agreement.
  • Returns must be made at the agreed date and time. Delays of more than 2 hours will be considered as an extension of the rental by 1 additional calendar day; delays of more than 26 hours will be considered 2 full days, etc., and charged at the daily rental rate per the original order.

4. Payment

  • Payment is made online (via payment gateways such as Stripe, Tap, etc.) or by bank transfer through the built-in system on our website. All rentals are subject to 100% prepayment. Other payment methods are not available or recognized as valid.
  • An order is only confirmed once payment has been received.
  • All prices are listed in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirhams).
  • If an order is cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time, the Company may consider a 50% refund upon client request. If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours in advance, the payment is non-refundable.
    For bookings exceeding 5 calendar days or 25,000 AED in value, the client must contact the Company for individual review. In such cases, a larger refund may be considered.

5. Liability and Penalties

  • We are not liable for damages resulting from misuse of the Items, failure to follow instructions, or for any indirect or incidental losses.
  • If we are unable to provide the service due to our fault (e.g. force majeure), we will refund the payment or offer an alternative.
  • The client is fully responsible for the safe use of rented Items, including any harm caused to third parties.
  • If the client fails to notify the Company at least 3 hours in advance of a delay in return (i.e. rental extension), they must compensate the Company for additional transportation and staff expenses in the amount of AED 300.
  • Penalties:
    • Full loss or major damage to an Item = 10 days' rental fee
    • Partial damage or missing components (repairable) = 3 days' rental fee

6. Intellectual Property

All text, images, logos, and software on the site are our property or used legally. Copying or use without consent is prohibited.
If you believe any content on our website belongs to you, please contact us and provide documentation for removal.

7. Privacy

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Use of the website implies your agreement with its terms.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may update this Agreement at any time. The current version is always available on the website. Continued use of the website after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. In case of disputes, the parties agree to attempt resolution through negotiation first.
